1. Setup your development environment

For running DingoQL for this tutorial it is highly recommended to use Docker images as it will simplify the development. With our docker setup we have provided sample databases as well which can be used for learning.

Step 1: Install Docker

If you have docker installed on your computer you can skip this section.

Step 3: Install Node.js for your operating system

Node.js is an environment that can run JavaScript code outside of a web browser. The sample dashboard we will be building in this tutorial is built with Nodej.js

Mac instructions

  1. Open your terminal
  2. Install node.js with homebrew
    brew install node

Windows instructions

Download and install the latest Node.js version from the official Node.js website

Linux instructions
